In fact, the only bonus we offer our financial consultants is one based on the quality of the service they deliver to clients.
At Stratos, we are in the business of selling long-term relationships—not products.
How We Work
Once you become a Stratos client, we begin by taking a broad view of your entire financial plan in order to assess your needs and goals. We give careful consideration to the right asset mix, making sure it matches your investment profile, and then we develop investment recommendations.
To build your portfolio, we look for high-quality investments with low management expense ratios (MERs). We usually include a wide variety of investments, including no-load mutual funds, stocks, bonds and term deposits, cross-referencing our choices with the requirements of your personal financial plan. We make sure your asset mix is the right one for your purposes, and then we monitor your portfolio’s performance, rebalancing as required.
We’ve designed five different levels of service for our clients.
You can choose the one that best meets your needs.
The Stratos Private Advisory Account is our most complete package, offering you comprehensive, hands-on service. You can establish a relationship with a dedicated financial planner who will get to know you and your investment needs and concerns. We carefully craft your financial plan over a two-year period, report to you quarterly, and provide a minimum four quarterly portfolio reviews, including one face-to-face review of your financial plan.
The Stratos Advisory Account provides you with investment management and a straightforward projection of your financial situation in retirement. We consider your goals, requirements and circumstances, then custom-build your portfolio. We report to you quarterly and offer a minimum two portfolio reviews each year, including one in person.
The Stratos Strategic Advantage Plan is for investors who would like us to assemble a one-time comprehensive financial plan.
The Stratos Pure Asset Account lets you set up a Stratos Wealth Management Account (or several) with access to MD Funds.
And finally, MD Private Investment Management offers you discretionary investment services through an Investment Counsellor. You’ll also cultivate a relationship with a dedicated Stratos financial planner, receive a comprehensive financial plan, and have access to insurance needs analysis and other specialists.
